Poem
THE MOON.
I am a bride in the dark night,
I miss the warmth of the sun
I long for all night to mix with him at dawn,
But I fade away in my desires
When dawn arrives,
I live through the day for the night to arrive,
So again I fall in love through the night.
Though I live though dark night,
But desire of love makes me bright.
You see me shining at night,
It is not me, but the brightness of love.

FREEDOM.
My sweetest joy is hidden in the joy others,
My deepest laughter is rooted in the laughter of others;
My love is mirrored in others’ gratified desires,
My freedom depends on the freedom of others.
So there is no individual freedom without social freedom,
“Individual freedom” only, leads to jungle “freedom”.

THE CUP OF LIFE.
My imagination is my cup of life
Filled constantly with wine-giver Nature.
Fill my cup, o wine-giver, with my sweet memories,
Fill my cup with my visions of friends and loved ones.
Will you fill my cup with love before it is too late.

WHY I LOVE MY MOTHER-LAND.
I am asked again and again:
‘why do you love your mother-land so much?’
I answer:
Because she milked me from her springs,
Fed me with the sun kissed fruits,
Embraced me by her modest mountains,
And loved me with her whole being!
For this reason my love to her is deep.
I love her with my world embracing arms,
And carry this love always in my heart.

MY TWO WORLDS.
I was a spring
Running through valleys and mountains,
Nothing could stop me from running.
Neither heat of summer nor cold of winter.
And I kept moving, moving…
For I knew
My existence was in the movement.
I knew every lonely spring would die,
Disappears one day,
So I opened my way to every direction
Which might lead to an ocean
Happy to say
I finally found my way for the ocean,
Where millions of springs meet.
This is the destiny of man,
To live alone, think alone, will lead to death.
As a Turkish saying goes,
Only the lonely man is eaten by the wolf.
